Lyft App Not Showing Heat Map
Ever since i updated to the newest version i haven't been able to see heat maps. After driving hundreds of passengers for uber and lyft, i've realized why uber is the better company to drive for.

Lyft app not showing heat map. I head north up hoover street towards silver lake but i'll get a ping well before i get there, i'm right next to usc. It contains a heat map that shows drivers the specific location where there is a high demand for rides. With lyft, as soon as i get close, right when i need the map the most, the app makes a loud sound, zooms all the way out to the united states, and says in big letters that take up the whole screen.
Use this info to your advantage by heading toward surging areas to receive nearby ride requests. I just updated my ios and redownloaded the app. Riders who request pickup in shaded areas have agreed to surge pricing for their trip fares.
By now, just about everyone should have the new updated lyft app that shows heat maps instead of other drivers. That should make it a bit easier to decide whether taking a cab is the best option for getting. Asked other drivers and they experienced same thing.
This doesn’t mean surge pricing went away. The extra $$$ will be used to pay the drivers for their quest promotions? I'm not seeing any at all even though i know that surges are on (using rider app) i'm on an iphone 6.
Even i wonder why it does that. My roommate and i both drive for lyft and ate updated to the newest ios as well as lyft app update. In my case it always goes to the road on the back of the building to which there is no access from the building.

It could be better hello i’m a lyft driver and i have a lot of problems with the app, to many hacking situations in this last year , the email the support it doesn’t work or it doesn’t recive the emails when raiting something is happening in my app, i thing is depens of areas where we are working, because i have friends every where in the country in diferents estates, and their app is. These colors indicate areas with higher current demand for rides. Wifi or bluetooth on or off makes no difference.
